Better late than never !
Hi everybody and sorry for being late but I only got the password this morning!
A few words about our first days :
- Sunday night and Monday : tiring trip because we had to stop every two hours so we couldn`t really sleep, but anyway, we were so excited and happy to reach Cambridge ! Our coach driver Jean-Louis is very kind . We visited Trinity College and we saw the statue of Isaac Newton and we have been told that the apple tree just in front the entry is maybe from Isaac 's garden !! We also went to other colleges. Then, we went punting on the river Cam. We were feezing because the English sun had disappeared. Don't worry we also hit the shops and contributed to the British economy ;)
Then it wa time to meet our families !
- Tuesday : After a good night's sleep, we compared our evening meals with each other : some had pizzas, others had pies, others french fries, cold beans (so good wasn't it Lucie?) > We went to Duxford to the Imperial War Museum. As we were a little bit early, we did the Harlem Shake. We saw plenty of planes! We even chatted with some English students . We returned to Cambridge and had a walk.
- today : Wednesday ! We went to visit King's College Chapel : perhaps one day one of us will go to this school ! The weather was typically English : drizzly, cold and grey. Then on to the Zoological Museum and after free time to lunch ! We walked quite far to the Botanic Gardens (all the walking kept us warm!) We finished this cultural tour by visiting the Fitzwilliam Museum. There we saw many paintings : Picasso, Poussin, Rubens, Quentin Blake...
It was then time to spend some pennies in Primark, Fudge Factory, Superdry, Hollister..... Back to the bus and to our families. We are exhausted !
Tomorrow will be another day. So let's meet tomorrow! See you soon ! And don't worry we are happy :)
